Another Annual Entry
Another year, another entry. It seems like I am only writing annually anymore. Oh well. The good news is that I got my laptop fixed at minimal cost, and with minimal memory loss. Whoo hoo! I was VERY blessed.
Still going to school--however, I'm on summer hiatus. Still taking care of my mom and nephew. He's also on hiatus. (Which means that I see him a lot more now) It's fun, I am trying to help him to prepare for the second grade. I can't believe how old he is.
Still working the same ole' job. I figure as soon as I get my AA from college (which is taking forever since I took so much time off) I'll get my CNA. The CNA doesn't mean much--I'll still be a nurses assistant--however, it will give me access to higher paying jobs. I still haven't decided what to do with myself for the long term. At one point I wanted to be an art/history teacher. Now I'm thinking about being a nurse. Not so much because I have a passion for the work, but because I know I would be good at it, and it would be the easiest career path for me to pursue. Maybe that's not the best reason for choosing a career. I turn 24 in less than two months, but I already feel like the clock is running out. Like I should be farther along in life. EEK. I'm just worried that life will catch up with me before I catch up with it. Whatever that means. Oh well. Here's an entry for the sake of an entry.
